Endorsements

When I launched this campaign, I said the scale of our coalition must match the scale of our challenges. Endorsements are about trust. They are a public signal that people who know the work, know the stakes, and know my record believe I can deliver. They are not about titles—they are about accountability and shared values.

I’m proud to be endorsed by a diverse group of elected officials at the city, county, and state level—from Representatives Samakab Hussein and Maria Isa Pérez-Vega to Senator Foung Hawj, Council President Elliot Payne, Councilwoman Anika Bowie, school board members, commissioners, and current and former legislators across Minnesota. These leaders understand governance. They know my track record of passing complex legislation, advancing public safety reform, and fighting for housing and affordability. Their support reflects confidence in my ability to lead effectively on day one.

At the same time, I’m honored to be endorsed by small business owners, artists, clergy, youth leaders, civil rights advocates, and public safety reformers—from Amore Coffee and Flava Café to Rev. Richard Pittman, Debbie Montgomery, T Mychael Rambo, Justin Terrell, Mark Osler, and many more. These endorsements are rooted in real relationships and shared work in community. Official endorsements speak to my ability to govern. Community endorsements speak to my character—and together, they reflect a coalition strong enough to move Saint Paul forward.
