When I launched this campaign, I said the scale of our solutions must match the scale of our problems—and that is exactly what this agenda reflects. Over my legislative career, I have shepherded hundreds of bills and billions of dollars across the Governor’s desk, personally drafting more pieces of legislation than I can count on the toughest issues for some of the most progressive members in the Capitol. That experience shapes how I approach this moment: bold enough to meet our challenges, disciplined enough to get results.
My platform is built around four priority areas—MN Sovereignty, Safety, Affordability, and Equity. Each mutually depend on the others to create a community where every family can thrive. Politicians have always made a lot of promises that they are not able to keep this time of year. Fortunately, I’m a different type of Democrat. When I set out to do something, I get it done & have the track record to prove it. These proposals are not a wish list; they are real, achievable policies designed to work within the budgetary limitations we face while still delivering meaningful change.
